1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Glo-b. By downloading, installing, or using the Glo-b mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Glo-b ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

2. Description of Service

Glo-b provides:

• AI-based skin analysis using camera or uploaded photographs
• Personalised skincare product recommendations based on skin analysis and survey responses
• Ingredient safety information based on regulatory databases
• Skincare product rankings and user reviews
• Links to third-party retailers for product purchases

All services are provided for general reference and informational purposes only.

3. Medical and Health Disclaimer

3.1 The App does not provide medical advice. All skin analysis results, ingredient information, and product recommendations are for general reference purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3.2 The AI skin analysis feature is not a medical device and has not been approved, registered, or listed by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) or any other regulatory body as a medical device.

3.3 Always seek the advice of a qualified dermatologist or other healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding a skin condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by this App.

3.4 If you experience skin irritation, allergic reactions, or any adverse effects after using products recommended by the App, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional.

4. Ingredient Information Disclaimer

4.1 Ingredient safety information provided in the App is based on publicly available data from:

• Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, Republic of Korea (MFDS)
• Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)
• European Union CosIng Database

4.2 Regulatory standards and ingredient classifications are subject to change. We make reasonable efforts to keep information current, but we cannot guarantee that all information reflects the most recent regulatory updates.

4.3 Individual reactions to cosmetic ingredients vary. An ingredient classified as "safe" in our database may still cause reactions in sensitive individuals. Always perform a patch test before using new products.

4.4 The App does not account for interactions between multiple ingredients or products used simultaneously.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glo-b and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Any reliance on skin analysis results or product recommendations
• Adverse reactions to products recommended by the App
• Inaccuracies in ingredient safety information
• Interruptions or errors in the service

5.2 Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall not exceed AUD $100.

5.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

7. Affiliate Links and Commercial Relationships

7.1 The App may display links to third-party retailers ("Affiliate Links"). When you click an Affiliate Link and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer.

7.2 The existence of an affiliate relationship does not influence our product recommendations. Products are recommended based on skin analysis results and ingredient compatibility, not on the basis of commission rates.

7.3 Glo-b is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party websites accessed through Affiliate Links.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 The App, including all content, features, design, logos, trademarks, and software, is owned by Glo-b and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

8.2 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8.3 You must not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or use the App for any commercial purpose without written consent.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload images of individuals other than yourself without their consent
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
• Attempt to circumvent any security features
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.2 Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to mediation in New South Wales before any legal proceedings are commenced.

10.3 You agree to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the App or by email (if provided). Your continued use of the App after notification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
